Cannes to host airline workshop

TFWA confirms that Lemantrade's annual Airline Workshop will take place at the World Exhibition in Cannes later this month

TFWA and Lemantrade director Fernand Lang will host the annual Airline Workshop at this year's TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The event will take place on Monday October 31 from 16:00 to 17:00 in auditorium K at the Palais des Expositions. No pre-registration is required and the meeting is open to all TFWA World Exhibition badge holders.
      
Lang will be joined by Brian Geary, head of transportation and entertainment for Visa, who will share data on global inflight purchasing. Geary will also present partnership ideas that Visa already uses with domestic retailers, which could help to improve inflight sales.
      
The Airline Workshop will conclude the first day of the four-day Cannes show, which opens with the TFWA World Exhibition conference, featuring keynote speaker Jose Maria Aznar, former prime minister of Spain. The conference will be held  on October 31 at 09.30 to 11.15 in the Palais' Grand Auditorium.
