Cannes rugby: A gallery of heroes

7-Nov-2003

TRW presents a Cannes rugby gallery with pictures of the recent Latin Lovers versus Duty Free Destroyers match. Click here to relive the real World Cup final.

The traditional Cannes rugby match ended with a convincing win for the Duty Free Destroyers, captained by redoubtable Brown-Forman veteran Richard Ferne, over their French rivals the Latin Lovers, skippered by L'Oreal's Christophe Marque. The real winner, however, was the Freddie McGuire Trust, a charity which supports efforts to prevent fatal accidents involving children. The game helped the Tax Free Rugby Association to make a generous donation to the Trust, with support from sponsors including Air France magazine, BPI, Ferrero, Guerlain, Jack Daniel's, Mediakeys, Hugo Boss, Premier Portfolio, TFWA, Hotel Carlton & Caroline South Associates.
