The 2003 TFWA World Exhibition will take place over a weekend for the first time in its history, organiser Tax Free World Association has revealed
TRW understands the dates are October 24-28. The conference will take place on Thursday, October 23 2003, with the exhibition running from the Friday through to the Monday.
The dates have been moved to accommodate the Jewish holidays that occur at that time, and to test the suitability of a weekend for the global travel-retail event.
TFWA ceo Andrew Ford said: "All exhibitions around that time are juggling their dates, and we're no different. But it could help lower costs for some people flying in to include a weekend, plus it doesn't mean a whole week out of the office."
