Cannes Show Preview: Nestlé to launch new exclusives
At TFWA World Exhibition this year Nestlé is launching initiatives to reinforce its position in travel retail with seven new products in all three confectionery sub-categories: children's gifting, speciality gifts and self-consumption/sharing.
They include new Smarties figurines featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends, additions to the Cailler of Switzerland range, another travel-retail exclusive pack for Kit Kat Chunky, a value for money carton of Quality Street and new After Eight biscuits (pictured). All new products being presented are exclusive to travel retail and will be available from 1 January 2002.

The classic Smarties tube with Disney figurine concept is being completely relaunched at Cannes with a new design pack and brand new figurine characters: Winnie the Pooh and friends (replacing Mickey Mouse in various costumes).
These collapsible figurines, which also offer play value,
include Winnie the Pooh (currently the number one children?s
character licence worldwide), Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. The pack
itself has also been redesigned using the new international
Smarties
brand design.
