Plans for the Frontier Duty Free Association's nineteenth Annual Convention are proceeding unperturbed by the recent panic over SARS in Toronto and southern Ontario, according to association president Julian Lewin. The Convention is to be held at the Toronto Sheraton Centre Hotel on November 9-12.

Said Lewin: "While we continue to monitor SARS developments and are sensitive to those who have concerns, there are currently no implications for exhibitors or attendees to the upcoming convention."

He advised that concerned parties could keep up with developments by visiting the Toronto public health website at www.city.toronto.on.ca or Health Canada's www.hc-sc.gc.ca.
