The new office will enable the company to better communicate with its consumers in Asia/Pacific markets

Liquor supplier Camus Cognac is to open a new Vietnam office this spring as part of its strategy to work more closely with various Asia/Pacific markets. The opening follows the implementation of its own distribution company in Shanghai last autumn.

After a month of transition where the team will work together on various markets, Phillipe Jamme, who is currently based in Hong Kong, will relocate to Vietnam to take charge of the duty-free and domestic markets of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia. Richard Ferne will remain in Hong Kong and be responsible for Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korean markets while working with key multinational duty-free operators. Michael Beamish will handle Japan, Australia and New Zealand and continue his management of the Asia Pacific team. Camus president Cyril Camus will manage the duty-free and domestic teams dedicated to China.
