Cadbury Schweppes takes gold sponsorship at Global Travel Retail Summit

The confectionery company has pledged its support for next year's event as more key industry figures confirm their participation
Cadbury Schweppes is to support next year's Global Travel Retail Summit as the event's first gold sponsor when it is held at the Gloucester Millennium Hotel in London on February 2-4. The company joins some of the trade's most respected companies and personalities in its support for the summit, which has already attracted several high-profile speakers.
Hong Kong International Airport commercial director Hans Bakker is the latest speaker to confirm his participation at the event, entitled "The $50bn travel-retail business: impossible dream or future reality?". Having masterminded the widely acclaimed renovation of Hong Kong's East Hall, Bakker is well placed to comment on how the industry can drive growth over the next few years. He joins a growing list of airport authorities committed to presenting at the event, including BAA, Incheon International Airport Corp and Cologne Bonn Airport. Major domestic and duty-free retailers will also participate, with the line-up so far including Dufry Group, The Nuance Group, Dubai Duty Free, Alpha Airports Group and leading high street retailer Macy's
