CTC-ARI announces cruise competition winner

The event is designed to maximise penetration by cross-promoting retail and food and beverage operations

Following its successful Viva Las Vegas campaign, Cyprus travel retailer CTC-ARI has selected the first winner in the next stage of its Amazing Days series of promotions. Julia Tirimou from Paphos won a luxury Mediterranean cruise for two including flights, transfers and hotels.

The prize is one of three “Mediterranean cruises a lifetime”. Anyone who spends 50 ($74) in any of CTC-ARI’s stores and food and beverage outlets can enter the competition. The idea is to maximise penetration by cross-promoting retail and food and beverage outlets.

The latest promotion is in association with Cyprus Airports, Austrian Airlines, Top Kinisis Travel and MSC Cruises of Italy. Key suppliers such as Spanish fragrances house Puig Group have also added their weight to the campaign. Puig is offering a trip for two to Barcelona including flights, organised tours and four nights in a five-star hotel. To take part passengers must spend €75 ($110) on Puig products.

CTC-ARI general manager Gerry Crawford said: “Our initial Viva Las Vegas campaign in the Amazing Days series was excellent and we hope to see the same success for our luxury cruise offer. The added advantage here is that we will have three lucky winners over the three months.”
