CIL in merger with Anglo Retail

30-Oct-2002

Specialist duty-free shopfitting company CIL International has announced its proposed merger with UK-based Anglo Retail Manufacturing

Completion of the deal is expected within the next four weeks.

The proposed merger will create a $26m turnover company and one of the largest pure retail interiors businesses in the UK. The enlarged group will retain both the CIL and Anglo brand names. The headquarters will be at CIL's current offices in London combined with the existing Anglo "rapid response" factory.

CIL managing director Gerald Morris said "CIL has been at the forefront of the shopfitting industry for many years. When the opportunity with Anglo presented itself, we realised we could create one company which would have an unbelievable compelling customer proposition."
