Thousands of delegates attended the glittering TFWA Welcome Cocktail on Sunday night at the Palm Beach

The theme of the evening was the "art of seduction" with people in costumes from the Louis XV period entrancing guests with entertainments reminiscent of "la Fete Gallante".

On Monday 3,040 visitors entered the exhibition including 1,133 buyers, 15% more buyers than at the same stage last year. Today Sheik Hamdan Bin Mubark, chairman of the department of civil aviation Abu Dhabi visited the show.

Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has said that 5,403 delegates attended TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes last month, and described 1,662 as ?key buyers?, a category which saw a rise of 20% over 2001.
