Readers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific award the airport “Best Airport Duty-Free in the World”
Singapore Changi airport has retained its title of Best Airport Duty-Free in the World at the 2007 edition of the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards, which took place on September 14. Changi has held the accolade for the past 10 consecutive years and also clinched the Best Airport in the World award at the same event.
The airport also won two Airport Authority with the Most Supportive Approach to Travel Retail awards at the Raven Fox Global Travel Retail Award and the Raven Fox Awards for Travel-Retail in Asia/Pacific earlier this year.
Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore director-general and CEO Lim Kim Choon said: Changis consistent performance in many of these international airport surveys may not surprise most people. Winning these awards is an endorsement that we are doing most things right. Nonetheless, we are also aware that there are areas we can do better and we are seeking ways to continuously improve our service standards and facilities further.
