Brussels International Airport Company (BIAC) is seeking a partner among the major international airlines to run part of the available infrastructure and to employ the current airport workforce, BIAC administrator Pierre Klees said this week.

No partnership however could be contracted until Belgian airline Sabena's restructuring plan with Swissair has been applied. Other alternatives might include either the signing of a strict user contract with Sabena or the purchase of Sabena's airport terminal facilities by a new company, said BIAC in an interview for Belgian journal La Meuse.
