Bruggisser quits SAir

Philippe Bruggisser, ceo of The Nuance Group parent company, SAir Group, is leaving the company with immediate effect. The move came within an announcement that the board has reaffirmed a strategy to focus on the two main pillars of airline and airline-related sectors. In a statement the company added: "The bottom line of the airline business must be successively improved." Group chairman Dr Eric Honegger will assume the function of Group ceo on an interim basis.

The company has decided to make no further investments or acquisitions via equity holdings in the airline sector. No mention was made about the company's travel-retail activities.
