Harold Brooks takes over the position left open by the promotion of Michael Schriver to president of worldwide operations

DFS Group has appointed Harold Brooks as president of merchandising, effective from October 22. He replaces Michael Schriver, who was promoted to president of worldwide operations in February following the resignation of Mark Daley to join Dean & DeLuca.

Brooks will be responsible for every aspect of DFS’s merchandising and brand development, and will be based in San Francisco. Brooks, who was most recently president of Fossil’s fashion watches division, will report to chairman and CEO Ed Brennan.

Brennan said: “We are delighted Harold is joining our team at DFS. His proven record as one of the top fashion merchants in US retail and strong leadership skills complement the growth strategies at DFS as we continue our expansion of luxury retailing throughout Asia.”
