Broekaart to leave Heineken to join Global Lifestyle

Duty-free and travel-retail global account manager airports Melvin Broekaart is to leave his position in December to begin a new challenge with Global Lifestyle

Heineken duty-free and travel-retail global account manager airports Melvin Broekaart is to exit the company on December 1 to take up a new role with Global Lifestyle in São Paulo in Brazil. The company plans to introduce luxury lifestyle brands into global travel-retail and duty-free locations through its offices in the Netherlands and Brazil.

Broekaart commented: “After more than five years of working with Heineken - of which four were with Heineken duty-free and travel-retail - I have decided to seek a new challenge within the world of travel-retail. I will always regard Heineken with affection and I wish them every success for the future.”
