British Airways signs up to Travel Spa launch
UK cosmetics group Molton Brown is teaming up with British Airways to launch Travel Spa centres at London Heathrow and New York JFK airports. Molton Brown said the launch will extend the company's relationship with BA as their 'wellbeing' partner in the air and on the ground.
The first Molton Brown Travel Spa will open next month at Heathrow terminal 4. A second Travel Spa will open at JFK terminal 7 in July. The centres, which cover 6,000 sq ft (558sq m) will offer BA's Concorde, First or Club World passengers and Silver or Gold Executive members free beauty and health treatments. Services include the Immune Booster Shower Cabin for instant hydrotherapy, Circulation Therapy, Molton Brown's Face Zone treatment and other therapies to compliment travelling.
Molton Brown marketing director, Charles Denton commented: "We aim to provide therapeutic spaces that make good use of the limited time at airports."
Molton Brown is also looking at providing dedicated Spas for their own customers. More Travel Spas will be opened this year at unnamed airports.
