Bristol airport names new retail director

Bristol International airport has announced the appointment of Chris Martin as retail and concessions director. Martin will oversee the development of all retail business, taking particular responsibility for passenger-facing commercial activity, including catering, retail, vending, advertising and car parking.

Bristol International airport has announced the appointment of Chris Martin as retail and concessions director. He joins Bristol International from London Luton airport, where he was head of retail. Martin will oversee the development of all retail business, taking particular responsibility for passenger-facing commercial activity, including catering, retail, vending, advertising and car parking.

Martin said: "I am really looking forward to working at Bristol International during this period of growth, as the airport seeks to reach 4m passengers by the end of the year. As passenger figures continue to rise I'm very keen to look at ways of developing retail opportunities. I'm particularly interested in the changing profile of passengers at Bristol International, and I will be working to ensure that we provide a quality product offering that surpasses the expectations of these customers."
