Olivier Bottrie, Estée Lauder's vice-president and general manager of the Americas travel-retail division, is leaving the role to become the group's vice-president and general manager, International, Aramis and Designer Fragrances.

Bottrie, who has spent three and a half years driving the company's highly-successful travel-retail operation in the region, will relocate to New York. Javier Simon, currently regional sales director for the Estée Lauder brand in Travel Retail Americas, is promoted to Bottrie's former role.

Bottrie told TRW: "In this new capacity, I will lead the brand regional directors in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America to strategize the growth of the Designer Fragrances brands in over 120 countries.  I will also work with the Global Marketing group in the product development and innovation process."
