The experienced director of Biotherm, Cacharel and Guy Laroche in France will take on his new travel-retail role on June 1
Vincent Boinay is to succeed Eric Lauzat as L'Oréal Luxury Products Division international director travel-retail worldwide from June 1.
Boinay is currently director of Biotherm, Cacharel and Guy Laroche in France, where L'Oréal said he had succeeded in consolidating both Biotherm and Cacharel's market share in a difficult environment. He also managed L'Oréal's European travel-retail department during the 1990s and was head of Lancôme's international development department for several years.
Lauzat has been appointed president of Lancôme USA, which accounts for one-third of Lancôme's worldwide turnover and plays a big role in the brand's international development.
A statement from the company said: "Eric Lauzat has greatly developed the leadership and the image of the L'Oréal Luxury Products brands in international travel-retail, as well as creating and developing new subsidiaries in many developing countries. He was deeply admired by his staff for his charisma and his great management qualities."
