The International Air Transport Association has urged carriers to face the future with confidence as the world heads out of a downturn in international travel.
The International Air Transport Association has urged carriers to face the future with confidence as the world heads out of a downturn in international travel. Preliminary May figures reveal a 21% drop in international passenger traffic over the month, with Asia/Pacific carriers experiencing the most significant drop at over 50.8%. North American carriers were also hit, with traffic dropping 20.6% over May 2002. European carriers were least affected by the downturn, noting a fall of 5.5%.Bookmark This Article
