Lagardère Services Asia Pacific is to open two fashion accessory stores at Singapore Changi airport early in 2009
Travel retailer Lagardère Services Asia Pacific has announced it will open two Bijoux Terner stores at Singapore Changi airport after winning two tenders through its local representative Saresco Travellers. Due to open early next year, the outlets include a 52sq m (559sq ft) shop at terminal one’s departure/transit lounge west and a 19sq m (204sq ft) store at terminal two’s departure transit lounge north.
Lagardère Services Asia Pacific development manager Amy Chan said: “We want to make luxury accessible to everyone at Changi airport. With all items in our Bijoux Terner store selling for S$20 ($13) we are confident of our ability to deliver this vision."
Bijoux Terner president and CEO Gabriel Bottazzi added: “We at Bijoux Terner are extremely excited about partnering with Lagardère Services Asia Pacific at Changi airport. Our two companies have a successful track record with our concept in Australia and Lagardère have shown to be a very effective partner in operating our shopping experience."
Lagardère Services Asia Pacific currently operates nine stores at Changi under the TimesNewsLink and Kaboom brands through a joint venture. Last month, the company was awarded the contract to operate a 220sq m (2,368sq ft) Discover Singapore souvenirs concept in T2. Lagardère also operates four Bijoux Terner stores in Australia.
