Big promotion for Bally's Valerie Boffy

Valerie Boffy has been promoted to retail operations director for Europe at Bally. Formerly head of Bally's duty-free division, she will retain responsibility for DFS Group account management. She will also handle Bally's six BAA airport boutiques in the UK. Bally's former regional duty-free manager Europe, Middle East, Africa Hermine Matzer, has left to take up the position of head of franchising at Hugo Boss. Her replacement at Bally is Carol Sims who was formerly with DFS in Hong Kong where she was a divisional merchandiser for fashion luxury brands
