Big names gather for St Petersburg event

Gebr Heinemann's Pierre Viarnaud and ETRC president Frank O'Connell are among the latest high-profile names to join the line-up of speakers at the Baltic and East European Travel Retail conference, to be held on November 23-25

The Baltic and East European Travel Retail conference, to be held in St Petersburg on November 23-25, has attracted many of the European duty-free industry's most influential figures to the speaker line-up. Topics to be addressed at the event, organised by Raven Fox, include the rapid commercialisation of eastern Europe's airports and post-abolition retail strategies in new EU member states.

Gebr Heinemann director CIS, Baltics and Russia Pierre Viarnaud, Transimpex director duty-free Vlad Gitsoaika and ETRC chairman Frank O'Connell are the latest speakers to confirm their participation. 

Inflight Service head of eastern Europe Lars-Olof Corselli will also address delegates, explaining the retailer and distributor's strategy since the abolition of intra-EU duty-free.

Also speaking at the event are Leonard Blinov, head of marketing and sales development at Moscow Domodedovo, Prague Ruzyne airport director of international affairs Vaclav Muchna, Dufry Group COO Eurasia Rene Riedi and Lenrianta general manager Liam Flood.
