The liquor supplier’s new office aims to boost its operations in the Caribbean and Latin America

Liquor supplier Belvédère Duty Free has opened a regional office in Panama headed by Ricardo “Tito” Gonzalez to increase its business operations in the Caribbean and Latin America. The Panama operation is part of the company’s US subsidiary Imperial Brands and will focus on products such as Danzka and Sobieski vodkas.

Belvédère Duty Free sales director Torben Vedel Andersen said: “We are delighted about the opening of the Panama office. Latin America is a key market for us and with Tito in a strategic position in Panama, from a duty-free point of view we can react faster and also provide better service to our customers.”

Andersen added that sales of Danzka vodka are registering double-digit growth in the duty-free and domestic markets in the Americas, where the company is reinforcing its portfolio with the upcoming addition of Russian vodka Youri Dolgoruki.
