Baltona opens revamped Lviv airport store
The 500sq m walk-through outlet sells a range of product categories including perfume, liquor, tobacco and watches
Flemingo International subsidiary Baltona has upgraded and extended its Lviv International airport store. The 500sq m walk-through operation, which opened on May 25, serves around 600,000 passengers. The operation was originally launched in May 2012 during the UEFA European Championships.
The new store sells a range of product categories from imported and local liquor to a selection of cosmetics, perfume, tobacco, accessories, watches and jewellery.
A Flemingo statement said: “Baltona has created a world-class duty-free shopping experience and is part of the complex offer of the airport expansion project that includes a new 34,000sq m terminal that is capable of handling up to 1,220 passengers per hour and 10.7m annually.”
Lviv International airport has direct connection with several cities worldwide including Munich, Dortmund, Vienna, Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Moscow, Surgut, Naples, Venice, Milan, Prague, Hurghada, Istanbul and Kiev.
Baltona has been part of the Flemingo group since 2010 and listed on the Warsaw exchange since 2011.
