Bally becomes DFNI Global Awards sponsor
For the first time the company is sponsoring the Airport Travel Retailer of the Year award at this year’s DFNI Global Awards
Bally is to be an official sponsor of the 2009 DFNI Global Awards. The deal underlines the company’s commitment to developing its presence in travel-retail worldwide.
Retailers, suppliers and industry organisations continue to show their support for the 2009 DFNI Charity Ball, which will take place on February 27 at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London, by donating prizes to raise money for the Jim Corbett Environmental Primary and Junior School, Patrani, in India. The project, nominated by World Duty Free, Alpha Retail and Aldeasa business relations and external affairs director Sarah Branquinho, aims to build a school in the foothills of the Himalayas at an estimated cost of £50,000.
Generous donations have already been received from Dubai Duty Free, Ermenegildo Zegna, The Patrón Spirits Co, P&O Ferries, Tax Free World Association, Group Logistics Ltd, Dufri International, Autogrill, Habanos and Coty Prestige.
However, the Ball still needs your support. To make a donation or book tickets (£190+VAT) email Gerrard Kennedy at gerrard.kennedy@dfnionline.com. Click here for more information on the Ball; pictures from last year’s event are available here.
