Golf bag promotion increases Ballantine's whisky sales by up to 72% at Asian airports

Whisky producer Ballantine's has boosted sales by 38% at Seoul Incheon airport and 72% at Singapore Changi airport since launching a promotion with Callaway Golf.

Since July 1 and until October, purchasers of Ballantine's products at Singapore, Incheon, Bangkok and Hong Kong airports are automatically entered into a draw to win one of 60 limited edition Callaway golfing bags, clubs and accessories.

Pernod Ricard Asia Duty Free managing director Alain Dufossé said: "This is our first regional promotional activity since acquiring Ballantine's and we are very excited to be partnering with Callaway Golf."
