Bahrain Duty Free sales grow by 16%

Bahrain Duty Free reports strong sales in 2006

Sales at Bahrain Duty Free Shop rose by 16.4% to reach BD28.99m ($76.8m) in 2006. Consolidated gross profits rose to BD9.12m ($24.2m), up by 17%.

 

Bahrain Duty Free chairman of the board of directors Farouk Yousef Almoayyed is reported to have told shareholders at their annual general meeting that net operating profits for 2006 had risen by 22% to reach BD4.34m ($11.5m).
