UK-based software house BOM has announced the launch of an upgrade to its Clue Trader inflight sales management system, which will be showcased at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando. Visitors to the Cyber Café will be able to view a full demonstration of the SkyTrader system, the first time that BOM has staged such a comprehensive showing of its range of software solutions.

BOM provides POS software to airlines such as Britannia, Air France and Iberia and is also working closely with inflight concessionaire Aeroboutique Inflight Retail to support the DAT500 handheld computers used by Virgin Atlantic Airways. As well as SkyTrader airlines and concessionaires will be able to see a demonstration of GroundTrader which can integrate with a range of back-office systems and add powerful functions such as web pre-ordering, credit card encryption and inventory control.

Clue Trader consultant Victor Pinies (pictured) said: "We are really looking forward to being at Orlando 2001. During the last 12 months we have received tremendous interest in Clue Trader and the IAADFS show provides a fantastic opportunity to meet everyone."
