Luxury jewellery brand Tiffany & Co will have a flagship store at the new terminal alongside shops from Kurt Geiger and Ted Baker

Tiffany & Co will be one of the main stores at the new London Heathrow terminal five, which opens in March 2008. The new store will be Tiffany’s only airport boutique in Europe, and only its second airport store in the world, the other being at Singapore Changi airport.

BAA retail director for terminal 5 Nick Ziebland said: “We are very excited to be working with Tiffany & Co. It is an iconic brand, coveted throughout the world.”

Other brands present in the new terminal will include contemporary fashion brands Ted Baker and Kurt Geiger. Both have signed deals to create unique concept stores in the new development.

Ted Baker is creating a “Twisted Nature” shop theme, which will include a range of products exclusive to T5. Luxury shoe retailer Kurt Geiger will offer its signature brands in addition to items from guest designers Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood and Gina and Paul Smith.

Due to open in March 2008, BAA’s Heathrow T5 will incorporate 20,066sq m (215,910sq ft) of predominantly airside retail space, covering two floors and including 144 shops and restaurants.
