BAA appoints commercial marketing director

Nick Adderley will oversee marketing at London Heathrow and BAA’s six other UK airports

BAA has appointed Nick Adderley to the newly-created role of commercial marketing director. He will be responsible for all aspects of BAA’s advertising, relationship marketing, promotions, product innovation, airline marketing and service brands. As well as overseeing the marketing at London Heathrow airport, he will also be responsible for marketing at BAA’s six other UK airports which are Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton.

Adderley has consultancy and senior management background with companies including Sainsbury, B&Q and Superdrug,

BAA commercial director Duncan Garrood said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick Adderley to BAA and are certain that the expertise he will contribute will enable us to achieve our goal of continually improving the travelling experience for all our passengers.”
