BAA Cleveland appoints LaForte as vice-president

Tina LaForte will oversee the opening of the new Airmall at Cleveland International airport

BAA Cleveland, the developer of retail, food and beverage concessions at Cleveland Hopkins International airport, has appointed Tina LaForte as vice-president. LaForte will oversee the transformation of concessions and the opening of the new Airmall at the airport.

LaForte has a decade of experience of retail operations including management, customer service, sales, merchandising and inventory. Before her appointment she was BAA Maryland general manager and operator of the Airmall at Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International airport. She also served as retail operations executive of BAA Pittsburgh.
 
BAA Cleveland president Mark Knight said: “Tina has extensive experience in all aspects of airport retail development and understands the value proposition that the Airmall delivers to concessionaires and passengers. She is a highly valued member of the BAA team and I can think of no better person to pilot our newest effort in Cleveland.”
 
LaForte added: “I am excited about this new challenge and pleased to be part of this important development. The new Airmall will strategically combine branded local and national concepts to offer the highest-quality goods and services.”
