Auckland makes senior retail appointment

Nick Forbes brings considerable experience in Australian airport retail to the role of general manager - retail

Auckland International Airport has appointed Nick Forbes to oversee retail development at the airport. Forbes will assume the role of general manager ? retail at the beginning of May. Forbes, who has managed retail at Brisbane and Melbourne airports, will be responsible for retail concessions, direct retail, car parks, advertising and marketing.

Auckland International Airport ceo Don Huse said: "Retail is the largest single contributor to the company's revenue.  With this new appointment comes an added emphasis on providing the best retailing experience to passengers."
