**TRI EXCLUSIVE** As the SARS virus continues to spread, the situation facing Asia/Pacific retailers worsens daily
Malaysia has become the first country to suspend visas indefinitely for passengers from China, and Hong Kong's outbound Easter Holiday bookings were down 80-90% compared to last year, the territory's chief executive Tung Che-hwa said yesterday. Inbound passengers have halved, and Hong Kong hotel occupancies are down to 10-15%.
