The new outlet operated by their joint venture Société de Distribution Aéroportuaire will offer liquor, tobacco, fragrances, cosmetics, confectionery and fine food products
Aelia and Aéroports de Paris joint venture Société de Distribuition Aéroportuaire (SDA) has opened a new multi-category store in the non-Schengen zone at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport terminal three. The 600sq m (6,458sq ft) outlet offers liquor, tobacco, fragrances, cosmetics, confectionery and fine foods and replaces the previous beauty shop in T3s non-Schengen zone.
Aelia CEO Jean-Baptiste Morin said: Since taking over the concession in T3 weve posted extremely good sales growth, which we feel we can continue through the opening of this new outlet. The passenger profile in the terminal is interesting and bringing the core categories together in a single multi-category store will enable us to maximise spend per head.
Among the non-Schengen destinations served by T3 are the UK and North Africa. SDA operates a multi-category outlet in the terminals Schengen area as well, and Aelia subsidiary HF Phénix runs a fashion store in the non-Schengen zone. SDA has also reopened the 220sq m (2,368sq ft) fragrances and cosmetics store in the west wing of terminal 2A.
