The Armani Group has advanced its expansion strategy with the opening of a stand-alone store at Heathrow terminal three

The Armani Group has boosted its expansion plans by opening a third Emporio Armani outlet at London Heathrow airport terminal three. The 65sq m (699sq ft) store has a modern design with black ceramic flooring and a video screen showing the spring and summer fashion collections for 2006. The group also operates an Emporio Armani accessories shop-in-shop in T1 and a shop-in-shop for jewellery and watches in T3.

Heathrow is one of the key locations behind Armani's expansion strategy for the duty-free and travel-retail markets. Plans for future openings include a 150sq m (1,614sq ft) stand-alone shop at Guam's DFS Galleria redevelopment and a 90sq m (968sq ft) stand-alone outlet at Japan Narita airport's new south wing. The group also runs stand-alone stores at Rome Fiumicino and Zürich international airports.
