Alpha fragrance shop wins airport award

Birmingham International airport has awarded Alpha Retail first prize in the BIA Concession Business Awards 2002 for outstanding sales growth and customer service in the company's Perfume Shop in terminal two

Birmingham International airport head of market development commercial Ray Savage commented: "The four key criteria for the awards were customer service, quality and service monitor, operational standards and sales performance. At our annual presentation of awards we had great pleasure in recognising a strong team performance from a key retail business - The Alpha Perfume Shop".

The Perfume Shop is one of a number of stores operated by Alpha Retail at Birmingham. Others include duty- and tax-free shops, Sunglasses Studio, Zinq, World News, Booksplus and Kidz.
