Alpha announces changes to inflight team

The retailer has created a new position and changed the focus of another to improve its inflight service

Alpha Flight Services has announced the appointment of Melissa Broomes to the newly-created position of inflight retail assistant buyer, reporting to buyer Chloe Fox. Broomes, who previously worked on range development at high street retailer Jane Shilton, will work with the team to help evolve the inflight product offer.

 

In addition, Alpha Flight Services supply chain development manager David Wylde is now responsible for range planning, forecasting and replenishment of product stocks. He has previously worked in merchandising management at Littlewoods.

 

Alpha Flight Services sales and commercial director Lance Hayward said: “We are delighted to welcome Melissa to the team and we are sure that our investment in this new role will be key to driving the business forward. David will be performing a key role leading the merchandising function, ensuring that we are constantly developing and improving our inflight retail offer in terms of choice, efficiency and delivery.”
