Passengers spending $100 or more have a chance to win a two-night stay at the new Regency Wing of the Galle Face Hotel

Duty-free retailer Alpha Orient Lanka has teamed up with the Galle Face Hotel to run a value-added promotion for its customers in the arrivals store at Colombo Bandaranaike International airport, according to a report in local newspaper Daily News. The promotion, which will run for two months, enables any customer spending more than $100 at the company’s arrivals duty-free shop to enter a weekly lucky draw where the winner is treated to two nights at The Regency—the new wing of the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo. The prize is for two people on a bed and breakfast basis.

Customers spending $150 or more will also get a buy-one-get-one-free buffet voucher which can be redeemed at any of the Galle Face Hotel restaurants. Alpha Orient Lanka general manager Graham Merricks said the promotion targets Sri Lankans who return home during the Christmas and New Year period.
