Alpha Airports Group acquires abroad

As part of its extension into the flight catering sector, Alpha Airports Group and Servair have each acquired 25% in Italian flight catering company Airchef 2000. The company has flight kitchens at 11 Italian airports.

In Australia, Alpha has added three new catering operations to its six-strong network.

• Alpha Travel Retail, in partnership with a local Singapore firm, has bid for two confectionery contracts at Singapore Changi airport. DFS Group, Swizzle and local firm Fins have also bid. A decision is expected in the first week in March.
