The retailer is to move to a new location closer to Madrid Barajas airport

Spanish travel retailer Aldeasa is to sell its head office in Calle Ayala in the centre of Madrid. The company's senior management is to move to new accommodation closer to Madrid Barajas airport, sources confirmed.

Aldeasa also plans to sell two retail outlets adjacent to the head office, one of which is occupied by the retailer's Palaces & Museums division. Real estate analysts told RavenFox.com that the sale could raise between €55m ($66.3m) and €60m ($72.3m) for Aldeasa's new owner Retail Airport Finance, the joint venture between Autogrill and Altadis.
