Airports Council International elects new chairman

James Cherry is president and CEO of Aéroports de Montreal

Aéroports de Montreal (AdM) president and CEO James Cherry has been elected as the new chairman of Airports Council International (ACI) at the organisation’s annual assembly. He will replace interim chairman Ghanem Al Hajri from Sharjah airport, who has filled the role since Niels Boserup’s retirement in August.

 

Tokyo Narita airport’s Tory Nakamura has retired from the ACI World Governing Board after 11 years’ service, while Declan Collier from Dublin Airport Authority, Javier Marin of AENA and Ad Rutten from Schiphol Group joined the board.
