Air France executive appointed to LVMH board

LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has named former Axa and Air France chairman Jacques Friedmann as an independent member of its board. The LVMH board has proposed that Friedmann's appointment, as an independent director, be given approval at its next AGM

LVMH chairman and ceo Bernard Arnault commented: "It is a great honour for our board to welcome a gentleman with the experience and human qualities of Jacques Friedmann. We are sure that he will help us in our pursuit for expansion."
