The joint venture between Aeroboutique Inflight Retail and Jean-Marcel Rouff will begin operating the duty-free concession on board Atlas Blue on July 1

Aeroboutique Sales Group has secured the duty-free concession on board Moroccan low-cost airline Atlas Blue, a subsidiary of flag carrier Royal Air Maroc. The retailer, a joint venture between Aeroboutique Inflight Retail and industry veteran and Inflight Sales Group president Jean-Marcel Rouff, will begin operating the concession on July 1. The partnership already operates the retail concession on board Royal Air Maroc.

Atlas Blue runs services between the Moroccan cities of Marrakech and Agadir to various European airports, including Amsterdam Schiphol, Brussels Zaventem, London Gatwick and Zürich. The airline has an ambitious expansion plan and expects to carry 1m passengers in the year ahead.

Aeroboutique said that the Atlas Blue duty-free range would focus on fragrances and cosmetics, tobacco products and holiday accessories.

Aeroboutique Inflight Retail, which is owned by Hachette Distribution Services, also operates retail concessions on board Air France, Cotam and Star Airlines.
