Aeroporti di Roma has published its financial results for 2006

The owner of Aeroporti di Roma (AdR) Macquarie Airports has announced that the airport authority's retail revenues rose by 14.4% in 2006, with duty-free sales up by 10.8%.

Macquarie Airports CEO Kerrie Mather said:  This was driven primarily by a 20.7% increase in concession retailing due to the opening of new branded shops, the refurbishment of 1,100sq m (11,840sq ft) of retail space and the addition of more than 1,500sq m (16,145sq ft) of retail space. AdR's direct retail has also performed strongly, with duty-free revenues increasing by 10.8% on the previous corresponding period.”

AdR reported EBITDA of €256.7m ($337.8m) for the full year ending December 31, which represents a 1.7% fall from 2005.
