Aelia wins Strasbourg concession

5-Mar-2003

Strasbourg airport authority has awarded its duty-free and duty-paid concession to French retailer Aelia

Commercial development manager Thomas Lelievre told TRW that the operator won the contract with a "high-quality" offer. Aelia was notified of its success yesterday morning.

Lelievre said: "Their offer consists mainly in running the main shop on the ground floor for both Schengen and non-Schengen departures in the existing 100sq m (1,076sq ft) space, and also in creating a new retail outlet of 20sq m (215sq ft) on the first floor of the Schengen departures area."

More details will follow on TRW and in the next issue of DFNI.
