Aelia reaps rewards of Lempicka's L promotion

Retail sales of Lolita Lempicka's L exceeded €250,000 in two weeks following a high-level promotion across Aelia's store portfolio

French travel retailer Aelia achieved strong results from the promotion of Parfums Lolita Lempicka's new fragrance L earlier this year. Retail sales of the women's fragrance—initially only available from Aelia in airport retail—exceeded €250,000 ($302,662) after 4,500 units were sold during a two-week promotion in Aelia's outlets beginning on February 23. 
 
The retailer paid tribute to the "excellent performance", noting that most fragrance launches to do not reap such returns. Aelia's promotion employed podiums, window displays and outposts to drive sales.  The Printemps department store in Paris was the only other retailer worldwide to distribute L over the same period in February.
