Aelia has opened the first L’Occitane boutique at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport terminal one

French retailer Aelia has opened a 20sq m (215sq ft) L’Occitane boutique at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport terminal one. The store, which opened on May 30, marks the beauty brand’s debut at the terminal, although Aelia already operates several other L’Occitane boutiques and corners at T2, as well as at Paris Orly, Lyon, Marseille and London Luton airports.

An Aelia spokesperson told RavenFox.com: “L’Occitane has enjoyed a lot of success elsewhere in our store network and we’re confident the new boutique will perform very well.”

The shop replaces a temporary Virgin electronics and multimedia outlet, which closed when a permanent 50sq m (538sq ft) Virgin store opened in T1.

Aelia's retail operation at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is run in partnership with Aeroports de Paris under the SDA joint venture.
