The French travel retailer has opened three new fashion boutiques in the reopened terminal 2E

French retailer Aelia has strengthened its fashion offer at the newly reopened Paris Charles de Gaulle airport (CdG) terminal 2E with the opening of new boutiques. The company will operate a duo-brand store offering Céline and Salvatore Ferragamo products as well as two male and female multi-brand outlets. Aelia will also operate stand-alone boutiques for Ralph Lauren, which will offer the Black and Purple collections, and Yves Saint Laurent—a world first for the fashion house in travel-retail—and another duo-brand boutique offering Longchamp and Lancel accessories.

The 170sq m (1,830sq ft) men’s outlet offers clothing from Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Zadig et Voltaire, accessories from Montblanc and Porsche Design and luggage by Tumi and Samsonite Black label. The 150sq m (1,614sq ft) women’s store features collections from several emerging and established fashion designers including Marc Jacobs, Sonia Rykiel and Kenzo. In addition, a multimedia and electronics outlet and a second Pure and Rare liquor and tobacco store also opened last week.

Aelia chairman and CEO Jean-Baptiste Morin said: “The reopening of terminal 2E is a significant milestone in the development of Paris CdG and this development is a big step forward for our fashion business. We’re happy to extend our long-standing relationship with brands such as Longchamp and Lancel and we are excited to be working with Ralph Lauren and Yves Saint Laurent, two very prestigious fashion labels that will be making their debuts in Paris travel-retail.

“We’re very pleased with the mix we have achieved in the new multi-brand fashion stores and fashion and accessories is a category in which we see a lot of potential. We will be working hard to develop this area of our business in the months and years ahead both in France and elsewhere,” Morin concluded.

Aelia currently operates 33 fashion stores in France and will open a 200sq m (2,152sq ft) multi-brand outlet in Warsaw Frederic Chopin airport’s new terminal later this year.
