Spanish regulator gives Aldeasa until March 17 to accept the Dufry Group and Gestion de Explotaciones Aeroportuarias takeover bids
Spanish market regulator CNMV has extended the acceptance period for Dufry Group's and the Gestion de Explotaciones Aeroportuarias consortium's bids for Spanish travel retailer Aldeasa. The acceptance period, which was due to close today, will now run until March 17.
Earlier this week the regulator approved Dufry Group's Eu31 ($40.3) per share offer. Another offer, from Italian conglomerate Autogrill, is being investigated by the European Commission over competition concerns.
